“BUILDING” is one word that gets me excited!
For twelve years and 1200 Setups/Takedowns, our CREATE Teams have moved over 21,500 TONS of equipment to insure that we can create environments “where people can take their next steps in their journey with Christ.” As a result, over 1000 people have begun a relationship with Christ and 1000’s more have taken their next steps to be fully devoted to Christ.
What an incredible heart our people have shared to make worship a reality in a portable environment!
In 2009, when we took possession of our property at 6700 Wilkinson Boulevard, we dreamed of a time in the future when we could worship and make disciples for Christ in our own environment. Now it appears that possibility could become a reality and I want those who are interested to hear about it firsthand.
On SUNDAY, March 24th at 4:00PM, we will be dreaming a possible dream together as we consider renovating our building for permanent space to worship and make disciples throughout the week. I like to think of our property at 6700 Wilkinson Boulevard as Forest Pointe 24/7 (24 hours a day and 7 days a week). In reality, while we utilize our location for innumerable great things in the process of making disciples who are fully devoted Christ-Followers, we don’t use the location at the optimum times for the most people to gather- Sunday mornings. We want to create a space where we can make Forest Pointe 24/7 a reality.
In order to do that, we need all hands on deck. Can I count on all the members, regular attenders, and friends of Forest Pointe Church to gather to discuss what we can do together prayerfully?
